Terms of Use
Use of this converter and its reference pages is free, with no account and no usage limit. By continuing to use the site, you accept the terms below.
What the tool is good for, and what it is not
The converter maps characters to the International Morse Code table published under ITU-R M.1677-1, and back again. It is built for puzzles, learning, hobby projects, and general curiosity. It is not a certified reference for aviation navigation beacon identifiers, maritime distress procedures, or any other setting where a wrong character could matter for safety. If you are working in one of those contexts, confirm your result against the current ITU-R text or the relevant regulatory body directly rather than relying on this page.
No warranty
The site, the code tables, and the guides are provided as is, without any guarantee that every entry is error-free or that the converter will always be available. Report anything that looks wrong through the contact page and it will get checked.
Ownership and use of the guides
The written guides on this site (the alphabet reference, timing explanations, history notes, and similar pages) belong to FreeMorseCodeTranslator. You are welcome to link to them; wholesale copying onto another site is not permitted.
These terms may be updated as the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
